Both Bush and Nixon Wiretapped Illegally, and Impeachably

From John Dean over at FindLaw: The FISA law was enacted in 1979 to ensure that no President had ANY excuse to evesdrop on persons within the United States without a warrant. They even allowed for up to 72 hours of searches without a warrant, as long as they eventually went to the court and obtained one within 72 hours.

Conducting warantless searches of Americans was one of the three Articles of Impeachment presented against Richard M. Nixon before he resigned like a coward.

Let the new investigations and impeachments begin...
